Short Information: Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) has officially released the detailed advertisement (Advt. No. 01/2026) for the recruitment of Male Constable (General Duty), Female Constable (General Duty), and Male Constable (India Reserve Battalions/GRP). A total of 5500 vacancies have been announced. This recruitment is strictly for candidates who have qualified the Common Eligibility Test (CET) for Group-C posts. Eligible candidates can apply online from 11 January 2026 to 25 January 2026.

Educational Qualification & Eligibility

✅ CET Qualified: The candidate must have qualified the Common Eligibility Test (CET) for Group-C posts.
✅ Education: The candidate must have passed 10+2 (Intermediate) from a recognized Education Board/Institution.
✅ Language: Matric with Hindi or Sanskrit as one of the subjects.
✅ Note: No extra weightage will be given to candidates with higher education.

Selection Process & Exam Pattern

The selection will be made on the basis of the following stages:

1. PMT & PST: Qualifying in nature. Candidates equal to 10 times the number of vacancies will be shortlisted for the Knowledge Test.
2. Knowledge Test (97% Weightage):
- Mode: Offline (OMR Based).
- Language: Bilingual (Hindi & English).
- Negative Marking: No penalty for wrong answers. However, 0.97 marks will be deducted for every un-attempted question (blank circle). Candidates must fill the 5th option if not attempting a question.
- Syllabus: General Studies, Science, Current Affairs, Reasoning, Mental Aptitude, Numerical Ability, Agriculture, Animal Husbandry.
- Special Focus: At least 10% questions on Computer Knowledge & 20% on Haryana GK.
3. Additional Weightage (NCC): Maximum 3 Marks.
- NCC ‘A’ Certificate: 01 Mark
- NCC ‘B’ Certificate: 02 Marks
- NCC ‘C’ Certificate: 03 Marks
