RRB NTPC CBT 1 Exam Pattern 2026

The 1st Stage Computer Based Test (CBT) is common for all notified posts of CEN 06/2025. It is of a screening nature[cite: 635, 640].

Mandatory Exam Day Guidelines & Banned Items

Candidates MUST read these instructions before reaching the Exam Center:

  • Original ID Proof: Candidates must bring their E-Call Letter along with a valid ORIGINAL Photo ID (Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, PAN Card, Driving License, or Passport). Photocopies are NOT allowed[cite: 942].
  • Biometric Verification & Henna: Biometrics will be recorded at the center. Candidates are strictly advised not to apply Henna (Mehendi) on their hands/feet as this obstructs the capture of Biometrics[cite: 138].
  • Banned Items: Mobile Phones, Bluetooth devices, calculators, smartwatches, pens, pencils, belts, purses, and water bottles are strictly prohibited inside the test center[cite: 135].
